Worst Service Imaginable

I have to laugh a bit at Telkom. They've placed themselves as a monopoly in SA, and therefore we have no choice but to accept their terrible service. I've been without internet for 5 days now. They messed something up on my line while working on the exchange and I logged a call on Wednesday last week. It is now Monday and I still do not have internet. The call centre operator told me that the technician assigned to my problem had a lot of work and therefore couldn't get to my ticket on the Thursday or Friday, but it would get fixed on Saturday. I phoned back on Sunday, only to be told that the technician assigned doesn't work on weekends. What a joke! What technical company of Telkom's size does not work on a weekend? It's so sad that we all have to deal with this terrible service. They really do not care, and the managers don't care about service delivery either. No one would ever contact me to apologise, because they know we have no choice but to be with them. No doubt I'll have to phone them again today because they would never follow back to let me know the status of ticket.
