MTN useless in helping you fix your phone

I've got a motorola MB525. I've been on contract for almost 2 years now at MTN. My phone decided to die on monday and would not switch back on again. Called the closest MTN shop to me which was in Blue route mall. They said no they don't do motorola anymore and the phone has been discontinued. So they cant help me. Highly disgusted called the call centre. They told me I have to take it to the closest shop and they MUST be able to help me. So I took it to the blue route mall shop. Ask them what can they do seeing that I bought the phone here and that I'm still on contract. They will take the phone in BUT I've got to show them proof of purchase which was almost 2 years ago. I dont have it anymore. Surely they must have the proof on their national system. They cant be that useless. Then the lady there said no they cant check it because it was on a different POS. What a load of. So I took my phone to the best cusomer support centre, Vodacom!!! they will send it away and let me know what the repair cost will be and if I decide not to get it repaired they will send it back free of charge!!! Bye-Bye USELESS MTN, hello Vodacom!!!
