Incorrect billing!!!

I received an email with my billing info and I am being charged R2997.47! The call centre say this is due to data usage which as far as I am aware is FREE on blackberry's BIS, that is exactly why i took a blackberry contract and i have been using data for free for the last 4 odd years! The operator said the contracts have changed since October 2012. FIRSTLY: I've been using data since last year oct with the same contract and the same phone and it has always been free. SECONDLY: If MTN make changes to my contract I MUST be notified by LAW as the user of the contract and I have NEVER received any notifications via email, sms or any other method. This is absolute BS and this WILL be rectified asap!
