It has been a very long time now since we first made contact with vodacom regional office in Pretoria (Lunnon) and after so many visits and so many and empty promises - it led me to force them to bring out their main Radio Planner - Ignatius. He agreed the signal in our Park Central Complex near Loftus is poor and he promised he will get back to us on what is going to happen and when - but guess what... NOTHING..
He said there are 3 options:
1) BOOST LOFTUS TOWER SIGNAL (he never got back to us on this)
2) CONSTRUCT A NEW PLANNED SITE TOWER CLOSE TO US (not gonna happem - they cant aquire the property)
3) INSTALL AN ANTENNA SYSTEM IN OUR COMPLEX. (not gonna happen since it is too expensive for vodacom... What a joke!!??)
Vodacom is the biggest joke of a company. I have raised this complaint here before, they did phone me but they told me EVERYTHING I ALREADY KNOW. And yet again..., NO SOLUTION.
Anyone who are in the same situation - just go to a store and purchase an aftermarket booster antenna. Works very well. Vodacom says its illegal. But who cares. If they fail to support their customers.. Then do whatever. We pay lots of money per month to these wolves.
