I bought a Cell C 3G modem and data package from Cell C on 4/4/2013. I returned it following a discussion with a cell C representative on the 26/4/2013. I could not get 3G reception - only Edge. This in the N1 City area where 3G reception is available. I have followed up on repairs countless times with no feedback being given. On Monday, a month later, I received an SMS from Cellc informing me that my device has been booked in for repairs. It took one month for CellC's repair centre to receive the device! And still no feedback when I will be receiving my modem back. How long must one wait.
CellC's service is shocking. They don't reply to emails and one battles to get feedback. Why should it take over a month to repair a unit. It was mentioned that the device probably just required the software to be reloaded. That takes 5 minutes! Can CellC not handle the customers they are working so hard on attracting. Disappointing.
