As a last resort, I'm publishing this item as I have had NO response from Cell-C on TWO matters. First, I received two calls from Cell-C over past three weeks telling me that I qualify for "this, that and the other", all of which I've no interest in.
During both these conversations, it was made known to me that Cell-C's records showed that I had just recently UPGRADED MY CONTRACT (084-554-4990) in March 2013. This is TOTALLY UNBEKNOWN to me!!! I HAVE NOT UPGRADED MY CONTRACT AND HAVE NO INTENTION OF DOING SO WITH CELL-C. I was promised a follow-up on the matter but nothing to date!!! Phoning the call centre is a waist of time as the lines are continuously engaged.
Secondly, I sent Cell-C an e-mail in early April 2013 advising that when my contract expires in July 2013, I wish to terminate my association with Cell-C (after 12 years) and switch to MTN, retaining my cellphone number. I've never had a response on this matter either.
I've had no end of grief with Cell-C over the past two years. I want NOTHING to do with this company. The last straw was when they cut both my cellphones off last year for supposed non-payment. It transpired that they were debiting the WRONG ACCOUNT.
