I have the Telkom Simple Plus package which should give me 2MB of ADSL bandwidth. Most of the time my line is so slow that I cannot even load [URL Removed] to check what the actual speed is. Even gmail is not able to work properly. When [URL Removed] does load it normally shows speeds below 500kbps. I am getting no feedback on my complaints (ref: 230CRK010513). There is no way for me to contact anyone who can help me. The people at the call centre don't have the knowledge, authority or means to assist me. I can't find any way to escalate my complaint. There is no way to query the status of my complaint. The only time I hear from Telkom is when I receive my monthly bill which is more than R500 for a non-service. My requests for discounts until the issue is resolved have been ignored.
