I entered into a new contract (straight up 100 with Samsung S4 handset) with Cell C on the 8th of May 2013, hoping for better service with Cell C, The application was handled quickly and efficiently however it is the 22nd of May 2013, and still no phone!!
The direct sales agent has since then contacted me after numerous calls from me to let me know that only the black color is in stock, not the white color. I agreed that I will wait for the white handset, but decided to follow up on the status of the stock only to be told that the real reason for the delay is that they have been unable to port my Vodacom number.
So the question is, is the delay of delivery due to stock shortages or because the unsuccessful number porting???
I have since then informed the direct sales agent that if I do not receive the handset by close of business today (22 May 2013), I will continue with my existing service provider.
