EAGER FOR NEW BUSINESS BUT NEGLECTS YOU THEREAFTER

Hello Peter,

I have signed up for a new straight up 200 contract at Cell C direct where upon concluding our business, I was assured that my shiny white new iPhone 5 will be delivered within 7 to 10 working days.

My application was done on 10 January 2013 and 10 business days later still no delivery. I tried following up on numerous occasions contacting Cell C direct on 084 145 and selecting option two when I would hold on indefinitely, prompted to send and email until you eventually hang up.

Selecting option one for new business gets you to the front of the cue immediately where a friendly consultant is eager to do new business.

I eventually sent the email and received a call back a week later.

No-one seems to know when Cell C will have stock of the iPhone 5 16 GB. According to the lady who assisted me with my application, stock was expected to arrive the following day.

It was the same story with every other follow up (084 145 option 1).

The next I'm told it's actually 14 business days or that I could expect delivery early next month. I don't know what to believe.

I'm porting my number to Cell C and I sure hope their network service is better than their customer care!
