Vodacom 4U - Seriously? 4 me?? Indifferent to me!

My daughter signed a contract for a galaxy s3 and a ativ tab. Within a month the tab is peeling off in two different areas and two other areas where the keyboard slots in. I look after my electronic equipment. It has a bag. My hp laptop is 15 months old a doesn't have a scratch on it. I carry the laptop to school everyday. This tab stays at home because I am too scared to even touch it. I went to the shop on the Friday, 3rd May to report this. I was told that nothing can be done and that this matter will be reported to samsung on the Monday. The Tuesday I received a call from this person and she then sent me a email so that I could send her the photos. This was the 7th May. I have not heard anything from the Manager. I pay extra for the insurance and was told that this is just for damage inside the tab and cellphone. The contract states loss, damage or. It doesn't specify. Is the loss only covered if it is lost inside a safe? Or is the only covered when it is from a arm that is cut off? This is my very first experience with a contract. I have always been a vodacom customer, but I will finish with this contract and leave. I am so unhappy.
