On Mon, 6th May 2013, I took my Blackberry for software upgrade at VodaCom Centurion Mall, and was given Job Ref No.: 8837340. On Thurs, 14/5, I was told I need to pay for "External damage". To me that is a joke and some form of rip off by VodaCom, they told me that the fone has external damage, that is nonsense, natural, the cellphone get minor scratches when it is not in the pouch. I did not take my cellphone there for fixing of it's cover, but to have its Software updated.

VodaCom is really trying to recover costs from clients even where it cannot be justified.

You must be very disparate to rip people out there and I am not prepared to be your victim. Your Technician did not even assess the reason I sent my handset there for and just decided on appearance that the problem was physical damage. I hate that kind of laziness that would cost other people.

My handset has minor scratches which have been there for sometime. I have explained my problem to your Consultant instead of assessing the internal situation of then unit, you decided to do an outlook and charge me because you will not be the one paying.

I refuse to pay for my cellphone software upgrade.
