Failure to deliver on promised turn-around time

I cancelled 1 of my my cellphone contracts because the 24 months was up. With each call that I made, i also enquired about my Gap deposit of R500.00 that I had paid cash when i initially took out the contract. I was told that I would only get that back when the contract had actually ended and it would take 14 working days to be processed. Today I phoned to enquire about it because according to my calculations, including public holidays, the 14days ended today. when I asked accounts about the money, I was told that the money was credited to my remaining cellphone contract (what?) that I currently have a credit of R220 or so and I was told that to reverse it would be at the discretion of the finance department and would take a further 14 working days. I spoke to Masebati in accounts and she said that she would escalate my request to Finance for me to get the money on Friday. If they can deduct my monthly subscription on time, they can pay me on time too. I must nw suffer for their mistake? Look it's only R500 but that's a million when you're broke. I need that money today! they made the mistake and now I must suffer for it, it's pure!!! I've also lodged a complaint with ICASA
