My son got a phone call from Vodacom a few months ago stating that he won a cellphone. The cellphone was delivered quite a while after this phone call and then Vodacom suddenly started billing him for a monthly fee of R276 per month on top of his current contract of R276.

We have been requesting this conversation recording four times already to make sure that he was not told he will be billed and have this contract cancelled and get his money back he already paid.

I phone Vodacom again on 28/08/2013 to complain yet again and this time I got a ref nr S3-TY428-8ZK8G which would be send to me by e-mail within 48 hours... It is 4 days since this request and still I have received nothing!

How can you tell a 21 year old who only earns a minimum salary he has won a cellphone and then he suddenly has to pay for two contracts??? He has never even made any calls on this contract! Apparently this is a 2 year contract, he has already paid over R1500 and still needs to go another R5100???
