I purchased my iPhone 5 on contract from Autopage Sea Point during January 2013. I started noticing some technical issues with the phone about a month ago. I contacted Autopage Sea Point and they told me to take the phone to Head Office in Midrand.
I went to Head Office this afternoon (this is still withint the 6-month period envisaged by the CPA) and I was told that because my phone has a bad scratch on it, it does not comply with the "CPA inspection" and cannot be replaced. I was then told that it can be sent for technical testing but it could take up to 4 weeks; hopefully quicker.
I would like someone to contact me regarding the above, as my CPA rights have been infringed.
