PRE LEGAL DUE TO CALL CENTRE NOT ACTIVATING LIMIT

At the end of February/beginning Mach I contacted Vodacom Call Centre and quested the R100 limit to be reduced to R50. The gentleman assured me 3 times that the limit is in place and all is in order. Imagine my surprize when Vodacom sent me an account that is over R2, 000.00 for a data contract that is supposed to cost me R350 at the most. After investigating I received an sms, not even a phone call, from Customer Care, Brian Masakona Pale to tell me that if for any reason whatsoever your limit is not enforced you will remain liable for the charges in excess of the limit set or not. I went to Vodacom on Saturday to find out what the status is and they inform me that my account is pre legal. NO ONE CONTACTED ME FROM VODACOM TO INFORM ME OF THIS. DESPITE BEING ASSURED 3 TIMES THAT THE LIMIT IS IN PLACE THE ACCOUNT WILL NOW BE HANDED OVER TO LAWYERS!!! WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO YOUR RECORDING!!! THE PERSON DIDN'T EVEN AMEND THE RECORDS TO REFLECT THE LIMIT!! I will only settle the monthly charges plus the R50 charge for over the limit and the rest is for your account. YOUR CALL CENTRE DIDN'T ACTIVATE THE LIMIT, IT WAS IN PLACE FROM INCEPTION. THIS IS YOUR SERVICE???
