I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S4 from MTN and the phone is a marvellous machine. However as a customer who was upgrading from a top up contract I assumed that the new contract will be top up as I was told it comes with R200 airtime, 200 SMS and 200 MB data, little did I know that it was what they call "Anytime" which in fact is an open contract. When I called the MTN dealer to voice my concern I was told to get used to it or only change my package after a staggering 3 months! My phone bill is almost R700 in just 2 weeks and I can't live like this, if MTN cannot change my package asap then I'm just going to take out that sim card and move to a new network. I can't be forced into a contract I'm not comfortable with, I am really angry as I have been a faithful MTN client for years. If they can't assist I guess it's time to move on to a new network!
