Line dead for 3 days

My telephone line has been dead for 3 days and after logging the fault online, I received a reference number 89CWK090513. Since yesterday I have been calling the call centre for help 4 times but their response is that while it is Telkom's fault, I need to wait on a technician to contact me. It looks like I will be spending the weekend and even longer, without the use of my telephone.
