I reported a fault on the line over a month ago. A technician came around and advised that the underground cable had been cut and they would repair it. Five minutes later I get an sms stated that the fault is fixed and the phone is restored. It was NOT. It was DEAD. I reported it again and was told that there was no fault and it had been repaired. This happened twice. I reported it yet again and have just received a message stating that the fault has been fixed and service is restored! THE PHONE IS DEAD. What part of my statement that the phone is dead is not understood by the intelligent beings at Telkom. It is still dead - no tone, no service, no sound - DEAD. It seems that nobody at Telkom is able to get my phone working. I have an elderly husband at home who is sickly and NO TELEPHONE - it is DEAD. I'm sick of them and their lack of service not to mention lack of intelligence.
