I emailed the CELL C customer service team about 2 weeks ago and surprise surprise, no response!
I wish to cancel my existing data contract early and start a giganite contract. I understand that I have to pay the commitment fee for the device I got with the contract (about R400) because of the early cancellation, that is not a problem. What is slightly perturbing is that I am told that I must pay the full outstanding monthly subscriptions for the remaining portion of the contract which amounts to R4792 (for 8 months)!!!
If I were changing mobile providers that would probably make a bit sense but I want to stay with Cell C!
Fortunately the response (or lack of) is assisting me to make a decision. At the end of the current contract (8 months) I shall cancel my contract and go with a different provider (I get high speed connections with all of them, I checked).
