I applied for a contract with cellc last week and i was told that i have a young credit history. the lady however told me that i can send through my documents (bank statements, payslip etc) and these will be handed over to the vetting department.
i called on friday to find out the progress of my application as sending emails to the lady was proving to be unfruitful. i was told my application wasnt processed yet.
i called again today only to be told that there is nothing on the system with regards to my application.
i emailed the lady who i had sent my documents to and i havent received any response.after calling them again for the 2nd time (bear in mind that the phone gets answered after 25minutes as you will be on hold) i was told that my application was declined.
now it makes sense why cellc has fewer customers because vodacom approved my contract application within 5minutes although i had a "young credit history".
