Airtime lost

I have not used my topup contract sim card for more than 3 months (was not in phone) and also failed to make payment due to loosing my job. When I started making money again I paid the arrears, R600. I inserted my sim into a handset that same day on making the payment and it showed that I had R517.00 airtime. (I normally get R175.00 airtime for my R150.00 subscription). That same afternoon after swopping handsets, the airtime was gone and the sim did not work anymore.

after phoning cell c customer service I was told to do a simswop at the cellc shop in cleary park, port Elizabeth. at the store when the sales assistant tried to do the sim swop, she told me she cannot do it as the sim card has been cancelled.

Please can I have my airtime back and the sim card re-activated.
