I went to a store to apply for a contract, the advice from them was to get my I'd, payslip, three month bank statement. I got all that right and I was asked to fill up the application form at the store, which I did that, due to the busy of the store they said, leave the application and we will contact you.
I was contacted at around 4pm from my house, I went back to the store with all my documents, the store was quite at the moment, the lady by the name of Shireen scanned my I'd and she said my I'd was fake. I was shocked to hear that and ask why she says that the respond was (where are you from). At first I thought it was a joke, then I realised that she was serious about it, as I turn around all the security guards were there to arrest me and my Wife. I was shocked and she said I was doing and she swear with her job and her life she was well trained to identify fake documents. I was so embarrassed and I said, this time you are wrong about this. She said, if I'm wrong I will apologise with a written letter. Is that enough of what she said for my embarrassment and humiliated by vodacom consultant, I have been a customer for more than 10yrs
