I have been trying to get the ITC number for my phone so that I can blacklist the handset, report it to the police and claim on the insurance policy and MTN is refusing to give it to me. First I am told in a shop I only need my ID and statement to get a new SIM card, the next shop says I need a police case reference. The police won't give this to me unless I have an ITC number. Now MTN won't blacklist the phone - I have to fill in a form, send my passport and I hear nothing.
I am told I will get a call back and I don't. What is wrong with your customer service?!?! Just blacklist the phone and give me the number so I can get a new handset or at least a SIM card.
Your call centre doesn't answer the phone - just eerie silence, and that's when the number isn't engaged which is so rare it would make blue steak look well done. Just do your jobs and stop wasting my time. Useless!!!
