I signed a contract with planet fitness in August 2012. The first month being free (September). When going to the gym in October I was denied access because my debit order had not gone off successfully. I think made a cash payment and noted that the account number had been captured incorrectly. The then ammended it. The next month the exact same thing happened and I again asked them to change it to the correct account number, which I was assured was done. I did not attend gym for the next two months. Upon opening my January statement I found that I was in arrears of R1 498.00. Upon going to the gym they couldn't even find the paper work) I was referred to the sales manger. Finally the agreement was that they would credit my account and I would only have to pay one month's fee. Upon paying the one month fee my account was still outstanding. Upon talking to the Sales manager Bruce I was told I had to sign a form. I then went back to sign the form and made another payment. I took 2 weeks of me phoning 3 times a day to finally have the credit passed. The incorrect amount was passed. I have now phoned Bruce who doesn't return calls and have dealt with Lee-Anne who also doesn't call back.
