I purchased a membership voucher, which gave me 3 months access to Planet fitness.
I paid for this upfront and my tag as well.
This membership ended on the 04/04/2013.
I was contact by one of the agents at Rosebank to advise me to come in to structure a new plan since mine is going to end.
I made it clear that I had no intention, of taking up a contract.
On the 16/04/2013 I received an sms stating my gym contract is in arrears.
Contacted Rosebank immediately, I was advised its a system error.
Firstly how can this be a system error if this was a voucher which allowed me to join.
Secondly if I had lost my phone ect i would not know I have an account which has arrears build-up, which could of ultimately landed me on the credit bureau with a bad record.
I am absolutely disgusted with this incompetent service/ record keeping that a major company like Planet Fitness uses to conduct themselves.
