On 27 July 2012, I took out a 3 year contract for my family and paid cash for the full term.
In August 2013, after just 1 year, my membership was cancelled for no reason and no prior notification, and I have being battling since then to get Planet Fitness Rosebank and Head Office to re-activate my membership.
Every manager promised to have this matter resolved immediately and everyone and gave me the run-around thereafter.
Despite numerous emails and requests for the managers involved to give me the contact details of their CEO and Sales and Marketing Director, this was not forthcoming.
For 6 months I have had no access to the gym, despite having paid for this service, and still no resolution - it seems that I have now exhausted all possible avenues and have to go down the legal route.
Warning: If you are looking to join a gym - STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM PLANET FITNESS!!!
