After signing a contract with Virgin Active Horizon View I immediately e-mailed Melissa who had introduced herself as a gym manager via SMS. In the e-mail I stipulated that I was away on work purposes and I had not used their facilities and would not be doing so for 2 months or so. This was in April 2013 when Melissa said she'll get back to me on whether my membership could be transfered or terminated. She said her stand-in manager, Zola would get back to me shortly and cc'd her in the e-mail. None of them has come back to me. Today, my account has been handed over to MBD for collection and I received an SMS. What should I pay for? I've never used their facilities, and my credit record is now tainted.
