Paying for 3 years with a non existant contract

I was tricked to signing a contract for gym membership as a high school kid by Virgin Active, payment was being made by my dad who passed on the same year therafter payments defaulted as I was doing garde 11 and there was no wayI could afford R200 a month back then. All along I was of the idea that the contract was in my fathers name untill I started getting calls to make payment, clearly I had been conned by these disgusting from Virgin Active Pinetown

I am now a young professional and am interested in a healthier lifestyle, but I cannot do that because of these skelms from Virgin Active. My account was handed over to MBD whilst I was in varsity and I kept informing them that I am studying and do not have an income, they accumilated the costs until i finished varsity and were demanding crazy amounts. I have been paying Virgin Active/MBD for the last 3 years having only been to their club in Pinetown for 3 months whilst my dad was alive.

I have recently decided I will take up the matter with the NCR, but I will first approach Virgin Active and see how can resolve this matter
