Recently I had wanted to open up a new gym contract. Although I had been shopping around, trying to decide what gym to sign up with. I decided to sign a contract with Virgin Active, based on the knowledge that I could camcel at anytime during the month of January. After numerous calls, to both the branch and the call centre. Virgin Active representive Tracy Lee Delport was the only person willing and able to help me. For that I am grateful. Although now, we great investigatioon, I am liable to pay 15% cancellation fee based on the contract the Sales Person found best for me, knowing that I belong to Own you Life Rewards he signed me up for the second highest premuim. I am now back and forth with Tracy Lee, trying tow explain that the efforts that should have come from Virgin Active's side, communicating with me reagrding feedback should have come from them and not me, having to call all the time. I have now wasted both time and money constantly trying to get out of a contract that Virgin Active, clearly just wanted to make money off and customer service is at a low. I will not recommend Virgin Active to anyone and will not partcipate in any sort of their events.
