I signed up with Virgin Active for my son and even went further as HR Manager to get the company to give staff an incentive to live healthier, Virgin Active membership, which the company did do. Now, my son has turned 18 today, already got a call early this morning asking me if I wanted to take a contract our for my son. He is still at school and Virgin Active wants to charge me a cancellation fee for my existing contract, which I don't personally use and sign up again for my son as a full member. I don't have a problem with paying for my son as a full member with the existing contract being moved over to him with just a few months to go on the existing contract.
Surely this goes against the principals of the National Consumer Act?
