My Girlfriend decided to get a gym contract so we went to Planet Fitness Centurion where we were helped by a sales person called Cashuis, we told him that my girlfriend cannot afford to pay more than R300-R400 a month. He then told us they do not have a contract for that amount (which was a lie) but we were lucky as there is a lady that cannot afford her contract anymore and the contract is only 6 months old, we could get the contract for R299 per month plus the black tag for R100, we then paid a R900 transfer fee to take over the contract which seemed legit. After gyming for a month we asked the manager for our tag to which his response was that the sales person that helped us was fired and the lady still owed money on her contract so it could not be transferred to my girlfriends name. We then immediately asked for a refund as we paid R900 to transfer the contract to my girlfriends name. This was in September we asked for a refund as this was their mistake and up to today we have not received a refund. After visiting the Gym several times the one manager told me to be patient she knows of people that wait a year to two years for a refund and that is absurd!!!
