I have a three year contract with Planet Fitness, it expires Feb 2014, I haven't trained at Planet Fitness since November 2012. I moved to a different place where there is no Planet Fitness, and I don't have a job anymore to affort my account. Since I started trying to cancel my contract in November 2012, emails sent forth and back, telecommunications, etc. I still fail to cancel this contract. I explained my entire situation and asked nicely to assist me in cancelling my contract, and guess what, they handed me over to a dept collector, Saya Recovories. I am so fed up already, don't fall into the same trap as I did guys. DON'T EVER TAKE OUT A PLANET FITNESS CONTRACT, UNLESS YOU ARE SURE NOTHING WILL INTERFERE WITH YOUR CONTRACT FOR 3 YEARS (LIKE SICKNESS, UNEMPLOYMENT, RELOCATING, ETC), or even if you are unaware that something might happen, YOU WILL BE HELD LIABLE TO PAY YOUR MONTHLY INSTALLMENT, EVEN IF YOU ARE ON YOUR DEATH BED, AND CAN'T PAY. THEY HAVE NO INSURANCE TO COVER FOR ANY CUSTOMER NOT ABLE TO PAY. THIS IS THE WORST CONTRACT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE AND I ALSO RECEIVED THE WORST SERVICE FROM THEM.
