My gym account is up to date and this month an additional amount was deducted from my bank account of R434.50. I ordered the bank to reverse this transaction successfully, however the bank informed me that they have already encountered similar transactions for other planet fitness customers this month for exactly this amount. I have never authorised this payment whatsoever. This very concerning given the recurring nature of these events which mirrors their reputation in the market. This previously also occurred for an amount of R736.55. Branch management is also quite incompetent with these issues.
