I signed up with virgin active Germiston as a vitality customer. when discussing the contract I was informed that I will be able to pay the once off fee for vitality over two months as I was unable to pay the full once off, off hand which was agreed to. when signing the contracting stating R339 for 12months I asked why it stated this. I was informed this would fall away after my two months for vitality were paid and I would pay the normal fee for vitality of R68... so the 1st two months were debited and then once again for the third month. When inquiring about this I was informed that I was suppose to pay the R339 -860! I was so taken back. why on earth would I agree to this if I originally could not afford to pay the once off in one month thus split this into two months. I was mislead into signing a contact I never agreed to. After speaking to head office and the branch managers for feedback on this situation I was informed this would be sorted out. I then decided to cancel my contract and was banged with a cancellation fee of almost R1000 when I had only attended gym twice a week and not once in the month of September due to this! their service is despicable!
