Pushed Into Taking This Contract

On the 19th September, i went to Virgin Active Meyersdal and spoke to a sales person by the name of Thabang.

I was interested in Joining the Gym via the Discovery Vitality Program

He said that i must pay R100 for the remainder of september and then apply for Vitality as i was not yet a member

He said he will get someone from Vitality to contact me to sort it out

When i paid the R100 he said that the only way to do it was to take out a 2 year contract at R399 a month and then convert it on the 1st of October to The Vitality one which was R80 a month and a once of payment of R900 plus rand and the R399 would be refunded. i was happy with that

The next day the guy from Vitality contacted me and i signed up. When i phoned Thabang on the 2nd Of September to say i want to do the conversion, he contacted Vitality and it shows that it's only going to be active as of 1st November and i can't do the conversion until thats sorted out

I feel i was really pushed into taking this contract by the consultant and now i'm landing up having to pay for it which is ridiculous

I want to cancel this Contract and i want my R399 back that has already been debited from me
