I joined Planet fitness in 2009 I joined from a guy named Freddy, there was a special going on. I was paying R59 a month they were debiting it from my account. In August that very year I was involved in a car accident. I broke ribs and fractured my spin. The specialist told me to stop gyming and he wrote me a note to give to the gym to terminate my contract. I then went to the gym spoke to Freddy he told me the manager was not there I think he name was Jakob but he will give the note to him and I will be contacted. I waited for weeks and then went back to them Freddy told me he gave the note to the manager but the manager had then resigned so obviously he lost the note. Was taken to the new manager which was a lady. I told her my story we sat and I signed papers and I was told that my contract was terminated. Now after 4 years I'm receiving a sms saying I have being handed over by Planet fitness. Please help me with this matter.
