Having bee a loyal Planet Fitness customer for 6 years, I decided to move my membership over to the Discovery system when my last contract expired a few months ago. Admittedly, I did not activate my membership in time due to travel, but I rectified this matter by obtaining a new reference number from Discovery a few weeks ago.
I then contacted the administrator at the Rivonia branch (Francina) to have my membership activated and gave her the number. Last Monday 23/09 my account had still not been activated. When I confronted Francina with this she blatantly and said I had not given her the number. Exasperated, I went home and phone them back. Francina was unavailable but her colleauge Thabang promised me she would give it to her.
This morning my account was still not activated. Upon enquiring I have established that Francina has transferred to the Craighall branch and has been replaced by Thabang.
It is compeltely unaccepatable that a perfectly normal administrative process is executed so poorly, even though I have micro-managed the situation.
