My husband and I met with the Manager Gareth Williams over a month ago, who promised he would get my husband's contract issues sorted out. My husband's medical aid scheme's gym offering had changed in March and he had not been able to get Planet Fitness's accounts department to do the switch telephonically - which meant he has been barred from the gym since March despite having a contract. Gareth said he understood the issue and would sort it out personally. That week. That was over a month ago. We have filled out additional documentation with the sales staff, left messages at the gym and on his cell phone, visited the gym to try and find him (in meetings), left messages at reception and made to feel like frauds when trying to get access to do a work-out.
Wow, their accounts department cant sort it out, the Manager is all promises and no delivery - where to from here? The best was when my husband got a call from the Debt Collecting department of Planet Fitness this week, demanding payment or legal action.
There are no contact numbers available for head office, the gym itself cant sort it out, including the Manager. We are stumped. And gym-less
