Lack of Service and Failiure to assist!

I came in April to open a contract at Planet Fitness. Discovery then had a problem getting the required registration fees out of the bank (nobody can tell me why or what the problem was). Planet Fitness attempted to tell me that there had been a problem. Except, they hadn't notified me of it, they had sent a message to my mother (filled in as the emergency contact for me). I only saw my mom a few days later, and she then asked me if the message that she had received was possibly for me. When I followed up about the problem at gym, and the sales rep and i got in contact with Discovery about it, they said that i now needed a new reference number from the gym, so that the contract can be activated on their side. In order for me to get a new reference number from the gym, I have been told that i need to pay another once off activation fee myself, which i had paid in April already.

Had Planet Fitness sent the error message to me, it would be my problem to sort out! But they didn't, and so they should be liable!

I have since sent an email to the Club GM, and i am still waiting for a response!
