I was refused medication today because my prescription was written on a blank paper (as opposed to a letterhead) and according to the pharmacist "anyone could have written it"
When I offered to phone my doctor from my cellphone, or the hospital where he works for clicks to confirm his medical credentials and whatever else they want to know, the response I got from the head pharmacist was simply: NO
Zero intent to help me whatsoever. This, for a routine chronic S5 medication which I have been consistently taking for 8 years (check on your system). Your pharmacy knows who I am, they know my face, they can access my entire medical history but they couldn't care less
In the last 8 years I've easily spent over R60k in just medicine, and yet, today clicks pharmacy gives me the middle finger with this unhelpful attitude.
This, from the same clicks that's IT database is a mess, has me registered on 4 different profiles and regularly gives me medication registered on my sister or father's profile by mistake.
Today is the day I throw my clicks "loyalty" ClubCard in the dustbin. So disgusted.
At a local pharmacy around the corner there is none of this, its a COMPLETE different experience!
