More than a week ago i handed in my engagement ring with the two wedding bands to get soldered/welded together. The lady (Baby) told me that i would receive a call the following day from them with a quotation of the cost. I told the ladies, and I LAID CLAIM on it that i need the ring back by Thursday the 17th as i'm getting married Saturday the 19th, (which i was told i would definetely). Today, more than a week after i gave them my ring i got a call from american swiss telling me that it would cost me R735 to get the rings welded together, and if i do it i would not get it back this week! this is abselutely!!! This after all, i had to pay R250 to get the ring made smaller as the lady instore made a -up with the sizing of the ring, unforgettable. American Swiss charge me to make the ring smaller after their mistake AND take the gold taken out, now again i have to pay!!! I will never again refer someone to American Swiss. Again, on Saturday i now have to put a dismanteled ring AND NOT A solid unit on my wife's finger, pathetic!!!
