I had my engagement ring made smaller at American Swiss Walmer Park branch 29th April 2013. The lady that helped me informed me that it will cost about R 90 for them to make it smaller and will take about 4 working days to do. 5 days later I collected the ring and I was charged R 240.00 - I was fine with this since I also had my fiance's new bought ring made smaller at the same time. When I fitted my ring it was still a little big so I gave it in to be made even smaller. 5 days later I was there to collect the ring, but apparently the delivery guy hasn't delivered yet and they promised me it will be there by Sunday (yesterday). So yesterday I went to collect the ring - it was there but when I finally got to pay I was charged R 399.95! I asked the lady at the pay point why they charging that much and she couldn't answer me. She kept the ring and told me that she will get someone to phone me today. Nobody made contact with me yet.. I just think this is unprofessional. I thought they would be the best company to entrust my ring to, but I'm having serious doubts now...
