First of all i have been a loyal supporter of house and home since i started working in 2000. I have been buying cash and on account but that mistake stops here. I have been retrenched and submitted my documents the beginning of April and today received a threatening letter warning me about legal action and ITC listing. Until today nobody called to say my claim has been approved, instead my wife kept calling to find out how far the claim was and was told by someone at the accounts dept. at century city that three months have been paid out and if im still unemployed by then i can come in again to tell them so another claim can be made. Yet today i got a letter. House and home was also the ONLY account i have that wanted me to take a claim form to my former work place to get a form filled in. Other places i held accounts at just wanted retrenchment letter etc. After being retrenched NOBODY wishes to go back to see the old workplace. This is definitely the LAST time i purchase goods from house & home.
