Sterns - Garnish me for account i did not open

On Monday 22 April 2013 i got a phonecall from Sterns. Telling me that they have not received payments from me since December 2012. According to their records I opened the account in December, and i purchused an item of R10 000 rand at Sterns. They refused to disclose the item purchused. or the store. I was shocked because according to my knowledge i never opened any account with sterns. How can they allow someone to purchuse an item for 10 000 with a new account just opened. I never filled an application form. I am questioning how can you open an account on my name because i still have my id in my possesion. Surely u need persons id, payslips and personal info and signiture to open an account. I request that the initial application with the id copy submited (if any) and proof of persons signature. I blame sterns their staff are negletfull. Email it ASAP because i receive threats. I want the matter resolved because i dont want to be garnished for something i did not do.
