Customer service at its best
Today I had to do a purchase on my edgars account and I live in Durban and this was for a friend in Rustenburg. Unfortunately for me, we had a here a week ago and bag was with all my cards in it. I had reported the and had my account blocked. Today was a special day though as I needed a present to get to my friend in Rustenburg tomorrow for her birthday. My account had been blocked and the Store Manager Stefan told me to contact the Durban account office on 0313332000 who were of NO HELP whatsoever!!! It seems i cannot use my account without a card, and since i could not get to edgars to get a card i was stumped. I called Stefan back and he offered to put the purchase on his account. (this from a man who has only spoken to me on the phone once a year for the past few years) A true gentleman. However I could not accept his generosity. He then spoke to someone and sorted the whole problem out for me. What a wonderful wonderful man!!!! He really has always gone the extra mile for me. He really knows the true value of customer service (unlike his counterparts in Kzn), I would like to thank him for helping and for giving me wonderful service.
