Trying to source something from Edgars is like pulling teeth. I have never used their sourcing service before but after checking 3 stores and so little stock being available in the stores I went to speak to customer services in Sandton and requested they order a pair of kids boots for me. The lady in the store was incredibly helpful and polite and confirming which stores had stock (although not local to me) said she would hand the request to the relevant department and have the stock sent to my local store in fourways. This was on the 30th March and I still don't have my boots. I received an sms on the 30th (ref 1903701) to confirm the request had been put through but since then I have phoned numerous times and each time given a different story. To cut a very long story short I am now told the order has been put through manually but they have no reference of this and have no idea where my order is or if it has indeed be dealt with. It is the sourcing departments job to source goods yet they do not seem to have the staff that are educated in this process or even a process that works.
