I am a regular customer at this store. I have always urged my friends to go and shop there. usually i would look for the afrikaans lady working in the canned foods isle to assist me as she is the only person who knows where items are that i need. Normally other people just shrug if i ask for something and don't even try to find what i need,
This week i visited the store again and as i proceeded towards the lady i always ask for assistance i came across her where she was reprimanded by an Indian man. He was shouting at her in front of everybody and i could see how uncomfortable it made her.
This also made me feel uncomfortable and i decided to leave the store.
I hope this is not the norm in this store. This is highly unprofessional behavior and if i should encounter this again i will never go back there. I will also advise everybody i know to steer clear of this store.
