I have been harassed the last few years by MBD Attorneys claiming to collect on a truworths account i had 10years ago. This so called account is prescribed as it's nearly 10 years old. Why is MBD breaking the law and trying to bully me into paying something that is no longer collectable as it has prescribed? I have lodged a complaint with Carte Blanche regarding this unscrupulous practice and considering going to the newspapers aswell. I'm sick and tired of my rights being abused and demand action or i will take this further!
I have paid monies over to debt collectors in the past not knowing my rights regarding The Prescriptions Act 68 of 1969, but no more! I will continue posting and sending my complaints to all relevant bodies that can expose this practice, and now i will make it my mission to educate those that don't know better as i see this as my civil duty!
