I'm beyond disgusted with this company and i'm seeking legal advise on how to lodge a complaint with the law society and i'm definitely informing carte blanche about your unethical practices.
I had a Truworths account which was last paid on the 20 January 2009, the account is now 4 years and 5 months and according to the South African Prescription Act 68 of 1969, the debt is prescribed after 3 years.
I have requested a detailed statement to prove and show that my last payment was made within the previous three years and received nothing so far.
I need your illegal trace alert to be removed from my credit report as soon as possible. I know my rights as a consumer and i would not be bullied by you people any further.
I challenge you to provide me with this proof, or summons so that i can raise my defense of prescription before a magistrate - failing which you should close my file.
Remove the trace alert before i name and shame you on carte blanche, speak up, facebook, twitter, consumer reporting, newspapers and every media platform which is against unethical practises.
