Non Functioning Fridge

On 08/01/2011, my wife bought a Samsung 400 RL40 WGPS Fridge through your Lewis Branch in Welkom, 1 Civic Centre, 27 Bok Street.
By 17/09/2012 we reported it not function to your branch. The fridge was collect by repairer who was organised by the branch and a second-hand KIC 22LT Fridge was loan to us for usage in the interim. The Samsung Fridge was returned by 03/10/2012. Only worked for 2 days was reported back to the branch by 06/10/2012.
This exercise repeated itself several time. The fridge was repair seven times all in all. Recently we requested that since it is obvious that the fridge cannot be fixed we will opt for an exchange than going on with the reporting and repairing processes. The feedback that we got is that we need to buy a new fridge at half price and continue paying separate instalment for both, the non-functioning fridge as well as the new one. Good practises dictate that this appliance should have been replaced the moment the problem was perceived as a recurring one.
We are sitting with a fridge that does not function and an instalment to maintain. Could you kindly intervene and advice since the appliance is technically Lewis property until we have paid
